The tuition fee for one year is actually [September 2003] 158000 TSh (Tansanian Shillings). The fee includes everything (i.e. hostel, food, etc.). For Form II - examination students need further 10000 TSh., for final examinations again 20000 TSh.
At MTSS there also exists a student sponsored scholarship program where pupils are able to apply for financial assistance to reduce fees significantly further. A selection commitee consisting out of members fo the school board approves the most indigent pupils. The students can make their studies free of tuition fees. At the moment german schools and private persons support students.
The scholarship is covering the tuition fees, contributions, examination charges and some equipment.
